SOUNDS LIKE A NEW LOOK

SOUND TECHNOLOGIES LAUNCHES NEW BRAND CAMPAIGN

Carlsbad, CA – June 6, 2007 – While the industry has been buzzing about Sound’s new award winning ad campaign, the newest news on this forward thinking brand is all about looks. Shying away from tried and true, Sound has grown up and its facelift is catchy, bold and modern. Just ask Melvin Cutter, he’ll tell you that Sound never cuts corners on its image, or its product.

Sound has revamped its corporate image including logo, stationary, web site, messaging, internal communication, packaging – you name it. The new brand image equates to the high quality customer service and products, plus the high ethical business practices Sound abides by. Leaving behind the orange tones and literal water drop logo – Sound has taken a stance with its modern brand approach and its new logo, design and packaging shows it. But it’s not just a logo that demands this kind of attention; it’s the company’s new attitude of change and shepherding others to join them in a veterinary revolution.

“All of us at Sound are here to simplify and enhance veterinary medicine. Our bold and innovative approach we have taken with our products is now transcending to our image and we are all thrilled with the makeover,” said Greg Stoutenburgh, director of marketing for Sound. “We feel the new brand is well timed. Our recent and coming product releases are giant leaps forward for the industry in image quality, stability and repeatability. Our new brand serves to represent these changes internally and externally.”

Sound has launched several new products this year alone all geared towards advancing the veterinary industry with leading technological advancements and support. For example, Sound just announced TruDR nx – a technology upgrade that enhances current image quality, repeatability, workflow, and stability. Most recently, Sound has teamed up with Dell to offer around the clock support and custom acquisition platforms. “It’s all about the customer and their needs,” added Stoutenburgh.

Stay tuned for the next Sound buzz.
